Enlisted from Jackson, LA on 9 April 1863. He was 26, married and working as a farmer.

Wounded and imprisoned on 30 November 1864 at Honey Hill, SC.

He spent 146 days as a Prisoner of War and was released from prison on 25 April 1865.

Mustered out 30 September 1865 in Boston, MA.

His grave is in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.

Enlisted from Jackson, LA on 14 April 1863. He was 26, single and working as a cook.

Wounded on 18 July 1863 at Fort Wagner.

Died of his wounds 25 March 1864 at the General Hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina.
