Private Isaac S. Hawkins (1834 - )
Enlisted from Medina, NY on 12 December 1863. He was 29 years old, married and working as a sailor.
Captured and imprisioned 20 Februrary 1864 at Olustee, FL. Exchanged 4 March 1865 at Goldsboro, NC.
Discharged 20 June 1865 from Annapolis, MD.
Possible grave? More research needed. (I hope not; the idea of a POW winding up in an almshouse cemetery is haunting. But, sadly, possible.)
