Enlisted from Glens Falls, NY on 14 April 1863. He was 21, single and working as a boatman.
Wounded and captured on 18 July 1863 at Fort Wagner.
Died in prison in February of 1865 in Florence, SC.
His grave is at Florence National Cemetery in Florence, SC.
