Private James Coleman of Company G, Massachusetts 54th Voluntary Infantry

Private James Coleman of Adrian, MI (1843 - 29 March 1879) WIA

Enlisted from Adrian, MI on 9 April 1863. He was 20 years old, single and working as a farmer.
Wounded on 18 July 1863 at Fort Wagner.
Discharged 13 May 1864 in Davids' Island, NY.
His grave is at Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, MI.
