Private George Fisher of Company D, Massachusetts 54th Volunteer Infantry

Private George Fisher (1838 - 20 April 1869)



Enlisted from Carlisle, PA on 25 March 1863. He was 25 years old, married and working as a farmer.

Wounded on 18 July 1863 at Fort Wagner.

Discharged 30 June 1864 from Morris Island, SC.

His grave is at Lincoln Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, PA.
