Private Sylvester Burrell of Company D, Massachusetts 54th Volunteer Infantry

Private Sylvester Burrell (31 August 1844 - 1 November 1914)


Born 31 August 1844 in Columbia, PA to father James Burrell who was born in Virginia.

Enlisted from Lancaster County, PA on 19 March 1863. He was 19 years old, single and working as a laborer.

Mustered out 20 August 1865.








His grave is at Mount Bethel Cemetery in Columbia, PA.
