Enlisted from Burlington, NJ on 26 March 1863. He was listed as 23 years old at his enlistment (which would give a birth year of 1840), single and working as a farmer.
Wounded 30 November 1864 at Honey Hill, SC.
Mustered out 20 August 1865.
His grave is at Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawnside, NJ.
